Our client is a fast growing Law firm based in Milton, Ontario and they are looking to expand their team. This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Lawyer.

The Associate Lawyer will be responsible for providing legal representation in criminal law and traffic ticket defence. Day-to-day tasks include case analysis, client consultations, legal research, drafting documents, and court appearances.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of criminal law and the associated criminal procedure
• Excellent legal research and writing skills
• Experience in case analysis and client consultations
• Courtroom experience and ability to represent clients effectively
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• License to practice law in Ontario with good standing with LSO
• Previous experience in a law firm or legal practice is a plus
