Key Responsibilities
- HR Support: Provide comprehensive support to the HR team, including document management, scheduling, and maintaining organized records using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Adobe Acrobat.
- HR Project Support: Assist with planning and executing various HR projects and initiatives—from onboarding and training programs to employee engagement activities—ensuring projects are well-coordinated and on schedule.
- Legislative Compliance & Industry Trends: Stay current with employment legislation, HR best practices, and industry trends, and support the team in integrating these insights into our HR policies and practices.
- Recruitment Support: Help drive recruitment efforts by drafting job postings, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and supporting new hire onboarding processes.
- Digital Tools & Systems Management: Utilize HR systems and other digital platforms to streamline processes, manage workflows, and ensure data integrity while handling sensitive information with discretion.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent HR experience.
- A genuine passion for HR and a strong desire to build a long-term career in the field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and familiarity with digital and HR-specific platforms (e.g., Asana, HRIS systems).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
