Executive Assistant

The First Nations Health Consortium Ltd. of Alberta (FNHC) is hiring for the position of an Executive Assistant.
Working to uphold Jordans Principle, FNHC provides a service coordination role in Alberta for all First Nations children and serves as the link between any First Nation child and the service or program need for the child.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Executive Assistant will work in a collaborative team-focused manner providing daily office management support and will ultimately be responsible for general day-to-day administrative duties as assigned.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Administration support to the Chief Operating Officer
Calendar Management: Coordinating and scheduling events and meetings, conference calls, and appointments
Travel arrangements; Create travel arrangements, accommodations, itineraries, etc
Communication Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders
Meeting and Board Governance: Prepare agendas, documents, presentations, minute taking
Strategic Support; research, special projects, reports
Other duties as required
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of executive assistant experience
Office Administration Diploma or a diploma in a related field
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with exceptional time management skills
Experience working with First Nations Communities and Members with a demonstrated cultural knowledge and competencies
Drivers License and Abstract required
Criminal Record Check, Child Welfare Check and Vulnerable Sector Check required.
