The Role

Our client is a reputable and leading supplier and service provider with multiple locations around the country and internationally in the search for Mobile Equipment Technicians in Calgary, to perform maintenance repairs and diagnosis to various equipment on-site primarily with rare travels to client sites across Alberta. Holding a Red Seal Electrician, Red Seal Heavy Equipment Mechanic, or Red Seal Millwright ticket is a strong asset.

This opportunity offers a company vehicle, as well as straight daytime shifts starting at 7:30 AM and potential overtime work. The right candidate must be comfortable working indoors as well as outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance was performed on various mobile equipment, following blueprints and manuals.
• Working with computing systems to ensure maintenance reports are completed.
• Ensuring to work around policies set by the company and government.
• Working with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components, as well as motors.
• Taking apart and reassembling/installation of parts.
• Assisting other colleagues where needed.

Requirements

• Red Seal certified.
• Mechanically inclined and strong equipment diagnosis.
• Ability to perform test runs on mobile equipment, and perform quality checks to ensure the final repair is meeting service expectations.
• Strong understanding and interpretation of blueprints and manuals.
• Ability to work well in teams as well as independently.
• A high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
• Comfortable working well indoors and outdoors.
• Had success working in a fast-paced environment, and completing tight deadlines.
• Organizational skills, communication skills, and attention to detail.
• A strong commitment to health and safety standards and protocols.

Compensation

• $46 to $52 an hour.
