Having launched in Canada just over a year ago, MFC has experienced significant growth and success. As we continue to scale, we are seeking to expand our team with a Business Development Manager.

Position Overview

This position is pivotal in establishing and fostering relationships with industry experts, influencers, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and institutions within the investment and financial sectors. The primary goal is to drive user growth through partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage with influencers, industry experts, marketing representatives, and professional organizations within the investment, finance, and technology sectors to initiate and cultivate marketing collaborations
  • Collaborate with financial influencers (finfluencers) and marketing representatives to create engaging content for investor education, aimed at attracting audiences. This will enhance financial literacy and raise awareness about investing, while highlighting the unique selling points of Moomoo's offerings
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (including marketing, product development, and operations) to align channel marketing strategies with Moomoo's overarching business objectives
  • Continuously monitor industry trends and market developments to identify new opportunities for traffic generation and partnership potential
  • Achieve user growth objectives through innovative resource utilization and traffic-driving initiatives

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in business development, marketing, or a relevant field, with a preference for candidates with experience in the financial services, investment, or technology sectors
  • Proven ability to build and sustain successful relationships with KOLs, industry experts, and other influential figures
  • Excellent networking, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to establish trust and credibility with key opinion leaders
  • In-depth understanding of the investment, finance, and technology industries, including trends, challenges, and emerging opportunities
  • Proficiency in English, with Chinese language skills preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
  • Creative and strategic thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management skills and a self-motivated attitude are essential
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
