Prevention will be at the core of your daily activities, and you will put your expertise to good use by advising all stakeholders on construction sites regarding the development and implementation of established policies, procedures, and best practices. In your role, you will be quick and proactive in your interventions to ensure the identification of risks and the prevention of accidents. You will work jointly with the project management teams on the implementation of control methods and corrective measures. You will not lack challenges since you will take part in our very large-scale project in Ontario. • NCSO, CRST certification or university or college certificate in Health and Safety, or equivalent training and experience in Occupational Health and Safety
• Strong knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act of Ontario and applicable regulations in construction
• Experience and knowledge in working at heights/fall protection, lifting/hoisting/rigging and respiratory protection
• 3 to 5 years of experience on construction sites in a health and safety role
• Advanced communication and interpersonal skill
