Responsibilities

• Consult and coordinate with piers to design, layout, approval of drawings, or detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problems.

• Design and develop detailed drawings of glazing systems for architectural approval, shop fabrication & field installation, using AutoCAD

• Provide complete package of fabrication drawings for windows and bills of materials, as required

• Create custom designs and/or specifications as required for architectural proposals

• Able to follow and understand engineering sketches and instructions, incorporating those into designs

• Maintain organization within the existing drawing database.

• Review and analyze sketches, drawings, specifications, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting designs, fabrication or construction procedures.

• Revise and modify designs to correct deficiencies or incorporate instructions and comments onto drawings.

• Graduate of an architectural program
• Able to work independently and in a team environment
• Mathematical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• PC skills in AutoCAD and MS Office.
  
• Must be organized and self-motivated.
