Position Overview
The Lead, Process Control Specialist is responsible for analyzing, designing, and facilitating process control improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness within the organization. This role focuses on applying Lean principles to identify and eliminate waste, streamline workflows, and drive continuous control improvement initiatives across various functions. This role will focus on improving organizational effectiveness by leveraging stakeholders and emphasizing best practices.

Position Overview
The Lead, Process Control Specialist is responsible for analyzing, designing, and facilitating process control improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness within the organization. This role focuses on applying Lean principles to identify and eliminate waste, streamline workflows, and drive continuous control improvement initiatives across various functions. This role will focus on improving organizational effectiveness by leveraging stakeholders and emphasizing best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement process improvement strategies using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
- Analyze process data to identify defects and root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Lead and manage process improvement initiatives, ensuring timely and successful execution.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement improvement plans, track progress, and measure outcomes.
- Develop and implement control plans, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to sustain process improvements.
- Establish and maintain process control systems to ensure consistency and quality.
- Monitor and analyze process performance data to ensure compliance with control measures.
- Develop and implement VSM to visualize and analyze current processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements.
- Provide training and support to team members on VSM and other Lean tools and techniques.
- Develop and or maintain objectives & key results (OKRs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of process improvements.
- Develop supporting documentation for process improvement initiatives.
- Investigate/analyze deviations from control processes.
- Facilitate handover of initiatives upon completion to cross functional departments.
Ideal Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience.
- Proven experience in process improvement, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) is preferred.
