Job Summary
The 310J Technician is responsible for repairing, overhauling, maintaining, and servicing trailers of all makes and models. They are also responsible for ensuring that all activities are completed in a safe and efficient way. 310J Technician has a solid understanding of Trailer mechanics
Duties
- Inspecting and Repairing Trailers.
- Body Repairs, Panels/Roof/Floor
- Welding and Fitting of various Trailer components of the complete trailer. Body, Frame and Suspension
- Mechanical Repairs, Brakes / Suspension / Lights
- Other Miscellaneous Duties as assigned by Manager
Requirements
- High school diploma or post-secondary education.
- Holds at minimum 310J License. Seasoned Mechanics will be prioritized
- Ability to work with Hand Tools, Torches, Welding Machines
- Welding and Fitting Skills
- Electrical and Refrigerated / Van Body repair
- Ability to Diagnose and Complete Repairs
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Follow Verbal Instructions
- Basic Computer Skills
- Maintain work performance
- Member of Ontario Trades
- Two years of verifiable mechanic experience
- Operation of hand and air tools
- The technician will have to work in all weather conditions and must be prepared for both extreme heat and cold
