Position: Journeyman & Apprentice Pipefitters Turnaround (Olds, AB)

We are currently hiring Journeyman and Apprentice Pipefitters (employees & DSPs) for a turnaround project in Olds, AB, starting April 7, 2025.

Project Details:

• Location: Olds, AB (Calgary area)
• Start Date: April 7, 2025
• Retention Bonus & Paid Travel Time

Qualifications & Education:

• Journeyman Certificate or active Apprenticeship in Pipefitting
• Relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry
• Required certifications: H2S Alive, CSTS or CSO, WHMIS 2015
• Preferred certifications: Elevated Work Platform (EWP), First Aid, Fall Protection, Confined Space,
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License
• Successful completion of Pre-Access Drug & Alcohol testing

Skills, Attributes, and Responsibilities:

• Ability to read and interpret Isometric Drawings
• Expertise in piping systems, including measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, bolt-ups, torquing, and bending
• Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment in complex decision-making
• Effective communication skills and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
• Ensure all work meets Canocos safety protocols and client-specific requirements
• Take initiative in contributing to training and mentorship opportunities within the Pipefitter role
