Pay Rate: $22.94 - $26.28

Hours of Work: 12 hours per week (Monday and Friday)

8:30AM-3:00PM

Hey there!

We're looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our Child and Family Services team. If you love keeping things organized, enjoy working with people, and have a sharp eye for detail, this could be the perfect fit for you.

What You'll Do:

You'll be the go-to person for all things admin. That means handling documents, scheduling, ordering supplies, and using software like Office 365, ShareVision, and online document signing tools. You'll also work with confidential information—things like assessments, legal documents, and other sensitive materials—so being discreet and detail-oriented is a must.

As the first point of contact at Cranberry Child Centre, you'll help set the tone—friendly, welcoming, and professional.

Requirements:

Education, Training and Experience:

  • Grade 12
  • (1) year experience with general office duties, filing documents / word processing, spreadsheet, database and other software applications
  • Criminal Record Check

Key Duties:

  • Act as an assistant to the Office Manager and Intake Clinician
  • Provide tech support using various software and programs, such as Microsoft 365.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with inclusion powell river employees
  • Warmly greet the public, connect clientele to their service provider, answer questions and prioritizes efficiently
