Summary

The Inventory Accounting Clerk at Titan Environmental plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the efficiency of inventory control processes. This position is responsible for conducting and reconciling cycle counts, auditing inventory processes, resolving discrepancies, and processing necessary adjustments. The role also involves generating reports for management, verifying inventory code usage, and assisting with month-end reconciliations. Additionally, the Inventory Accounting Clerk provides support to the Customer Service and Shipping/Receiving teams and participates in inventory improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and reconcile cycle counts.
  • Audit cycle count results.
  • Generate cycle count reports for management.
  • Monitor and audit inventory processes.
  • Resolve negative inventory.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Process inventory adjustments as needed.
  • Provide support to Customer Service and Shipping/Receiving teams.
  • Assist with month-end reconciliations.
  • Verify proper inventory code usage.
  • Participate in inventory improvement projects.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Diploma or enrolment in post-secondary education in Accounting or Business will be considered as an asset.
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory accounting, inventory control, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management processes and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and experience with accounting software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

  • Occasional travel may be necessary.
  • This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm).
  • This position is open to candidates located in our Ile De Chnes, MB office and is an in-person work arrangement.
