Enterprise Integration Analyst

West Fraser's IT is continuing to grow, with multiple locations and the successful candidate should be a self-motivated achiever who gains satisfaction from providing excellent support services and thrives in a team-based environment.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Enterprise Integration Analyst to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting middleware systems that facilitate communication between various software applications. The Enterprise Integration Analyst will play a key role in ensuring seamless integration and optimization of systems, providing technical support, and ensuring that our middleware solutions align with business objectives

You'll do:

  • Manage, install, configure, and administer middleware software, including WebLogic, IIS, JAMS, and associated platforms.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, business teams, and architects to understand middleware requirements and design efficient configurations based on business needs and functional requirements.
  • Monitor system performance, identify potential bottlenecks, and conduct troubleshooting and performance tuning to ensure high availability, reliability, and security.
  • Perform root cause analysis of middleware-related incidents and provide resolutions.
  • Coordinate with vendors, external stakeholders, and internal teams for software updates, patches, technical support, design issues, problem resolution, and system upgrades.
  • Implement and support enterprise system integrations, ensuring seamless communication across various software applications and platforms.
  • Document middleware processes, procedures, configurations, and maintenance for all associated environments.
  • Provide technical support, consulting, and guidance to end-users and IT teams.
  • Support and maintain middleware interfaces between various systems.
  • Collaborate on technical design, system standards, and contribute to the overall architecture roadmap.
  • Ensure integration and alignment of middleware configurations with other IT technologies, processes, systems, and environments.
  • Administer and manage source code repositories (SVN, Azure DevOps) and software build/configuration tools.
  • Oversee software release management for multiple products on web platforms (Java, .NET).
  • Administer Oracle WebLogic 12c on Oracle Linux and/or Windows 2016 or higher systems and Microsoft IIS on Windows 2016 or higher.
  • Perform troubleshooting, incident response, and security administration for middleware updates and new installations.
  • Implement tools to provide quality metrics and ensure adherence to development policies and corporate compliance (e.g., data security, change control).
  • Complete tasks within the assigned schedule, maintaining high quality and performance standards.

You'll have:

  • University degree in Computer Science or related information technology degree/diploma
  • Driven and able to learn new technologies in short timeframes
  • Critical thinker and have adept problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both technical and non-technical scenarios
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Positive and people-oriented personality that is action-oriented
  • Familiarity with integration technologies and protocols such as REST, SOAP, JMS, and messaging queues
  • Experience with Middleware such as IIS and Oracle WebLogic is an asset
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues
  • Familiarity with ITIL and best practices in systems management is a plus
  • Techniques: Design Patterns and Object-Oriented Design (OOD), UML
  • Languages: Visual Studio .NET, C# 3.5/2.0, T-SQL, PL/SQL, VB.NET, JavaScript, VBScript, SSRS, SSIS, Shell Scripting, Oracle
  • Web: ASP.NET, Oracle Apex, Webservices, Javascript, SOAP, Rest Api
  • Databases: Oracle, SQL Server,Azure SQL
  • Technologies: .NET 4.6/3.5/3.0 WCF, WPF, ADO.NET, Windows Forms GUI, Web Services, Multi-Threading, COM, ODBC, MSMQ, Window Services, and Processes
  • Protocols: TCP/IP, SMTP, FTP, SFTP
  • Operating Systems: Windows 2012-2022, Oracle Linux 6-8
  • Version Control: SVN, Azure DevOps
  • Tools: MS Office, MS Visio, MS Project, Teams, SharePoint, Jira, SQL Developer, ServiceNow
  • Automation: JAMS
  • Cloud Technologies: Azure, Oracle OCI knowledge with Enterprise Integrations is a plus

Compensation Package:

  • The salary range for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location. The yearly salary range is between $72,000 - $87,000
  • Annual bonus opportunity
