You'll collaborate across departments to develop initiatives that align with organizational priorities while ensuring every employee feels connected, informed, and appreciated. - Develop and implement internal and external communication plans for consistent and transparent messaging
- Craft engaging content for platforms like County Connect, employee intranets, and digital signage
- Collaborate with the Communications Officer on social media and digital design initiatives
- Chair the Employee Engagement Committee, leading initiatives that align with organizational values
- Organize programs such as appreciation events, recognition ceremonies, and corporate volunteering activities
- Coordinate employee engagement surveys and analyze results to drive strategic improvements
- Partner with HR and senior leadership to implement programs enhancing workplace culture and morale
- Assist departments in tracking and executing Strategic Plan priorities
- Plan and execute events like employee appreciation celebrations and milestone recognitions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver successful events that reflect organizational values
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards for documents and websites
- Manage internal branding, ensuring alignment with organizational vision and mission
- A diploma or degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- At least 3 years in internal communications, employee engagement, or a related role
- Event planning and program coordination experience is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and content management systems
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A creative thinker with a knack for designing innovative engagement strategies
- Familiarity with accessible document remediation is an asset
- Experience using communication tools like intranet software and digital signage
- A valid Class “G” Ontario driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for work-related purposes
- Ability to provide a Ministry of Transportation Driver Abstract and Police Information Check
