We are looking to add someone at a senior level to manage clients, do business development and recruitment. There is a gap in our team currently.Responsibilities:
- Sourcing candidates using a variety of strategies, tools, and platforms.
- Conducting introductory phone interviews as well as all other screening activities such as references and portfolio/work samples review and coordination.
- Engage in mind-boggling conversations with architects, and match them with the perfect career opportunities. It's like playing Cupid but for careers.
- Coach and consult candidates on what opportunities would be best for their personal career growth based on their goals.
- Make good judgment calls - spot a future design superstar from a mile away.
- Assembling professional submission packages to represent candidates to our clients.
- Have an astute understanding of the clients/companies we represent.
- Continuously educate yourself on the architecture and design industry, trends, news, and competitive landscape.
- Weekly team meetings to discuss operations and strategy for meeting all of our client requirements.
- Run client meetings to gain an understanding of their business and requirements.
- Gather feedback from placed candidates on how work is going and provide performance feedback to them from their employer.
- Maintain candidate records through detailed note-taking and data integrity.
- Contribute to lead generation through sharing industry intel gained from candidate conversations.
- Do business development to bring in new clients such as attending networking events and cold reach out.
Must haves:
- 5+ years of experience working as either a recruiter at an agency, in an outbound sales position, or a KPI-driven customer service role.
- Experience working in the AEC industry, understanding and knowledge of the design industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication and a demonstrated ability to build relationships quickly.
- Bachelor's degree (technical field preferred).
- Desire to give back to the community and consult candidates that are new immigrants/new grads.
- French working proficiency.
- Network of clients and candidates in the industry.
