Wealth Coordinator

Avanti Wealth is a locally owned leading Wealth Management provider. Avanti Wealth is looking for a self-motivated, intelligent Wealth Coordinator with superior communication skills who is looking to be an integral part of our growing team. As a Wealth Coordinator, you will provide support to Avanti Wealth Advisors and will perform a variety of administrative duties related to wealth management.

In summary, the Wealth Coordinator will:

  • Handle all incoming phone calls and walk-in inquiries.
  • Create and maintain member investment and insurance files.
  • Process bill payments and prepare activity reports.
  • Follow up on Insurance Renewals, NSF payments and Termination warnings for life contracts.
  • Process updates such as address, beneficiary, banking and marital status changes.
  • Available to complete all in person document signing for new accounts; account KYC updates; systematic plan changes; RRIF conversions; LIF unlocking applications; as well as Estate claims.
  • Complete daily credit and debit report.
  • Follow up and place trades for Advisor when required.
  • Follow up on all incoming transfers/missing documents/overdrafts.
  • Follow up on files in underwriting.
  • Assist in building the relationship with credit union management and staff.
  • Complete reminder calls for scheduled appointments.
  • Assist with referral tracking, calling and follow ups.
  • Manage social media channels, help create content, organize webinars, meetings, organize client events
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and cooperation with Avanti Wealth Representatives, Credit Union Staff, Aviso Regional Offices, Aviso Head Office, and other Aviso staff.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.

The “must-have” skills and qualifications that we're looking for are:

  • Completion of Canadian Securities Course, within one year.
  • Completion of Conduct and Practices and Wealth Management Essentials, within two years.
  • Completion of required CE Credits.
  • Full time hours Monday to Friday; Hours 9:00am until 5:00pm daily; Weekend hours as required by clients for documentation signing.
