We are seeking friendly and team-oriented individuals to assist our Guest Service Team. The ideal candidate will have experience interacting with guests, performing administrative tasks, and contributing to a positive team environment. As a Guest Service Agent, you will play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our guests while working in a high-energy and fun atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Register arriving guests and assign rooms.
- Process group arrivals and departures.
- Take, cancel, and change room reservations.
- Provide general information about local attractions and points of interest.
- Investigate and resolve guest complaints and claims.
- Process guest departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
- Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and prepare cash reports.
- Maintain inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Follow emergency and safety procedures.
- Perform clerical duties such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
- Answer phone calls and relay messages promptly.
- Assist guests with special needs and requests.
- Handle wake-up call services.
- Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a guest service or front desk role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
- Proficiency with reservation software and office equipment.
- Knowledge of local attractions and services is an asset.
- Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Availability for Night Audit Shifts: The candidate should be willing to cover two-night audit shifts as needed, ensuring smooth overnight operations and maintaining service standards.
