Responsibilities:

• Install windows, glass units, and related hardware in residential and commercial buildings.
• Measure and cut window panes to fit specified dimensions.
• Secure and seal windows, ensuring proper insulation and waterproofing.
• Work with a variety of window types, including casement, sliding, double-hung, and custom glazing.
• Assist with the removal and disposal of old windows and glass.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Communicate with team members and customers to ensure satisfaction with installation work.
• Troubleshoot and address any issues related to window installation or glazing.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Qualifications & Must Haves:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in window installation or related field, such as general construction or carpentry.
• Ability to interpret construction blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Solid understanding of construction processes and being able to complete assigned tasks independently and without supervision.
  
• Experience with a variety of window materials, including vinyl, wood, and fiberglass.
• Knowledge of safety protocols for working at heights and with heavy or large materials.
• Lifting, carrying, and moving materials. Up to 25 lbs.
• Have your own hard-hat, safety-vest, gloves & safety boots.

Nice to Haves (But Not Necessary):

• Red Seal certification as a Glazier (or related certification) is an asset.
• Have access to own vehicle or reliable transportation.
• Has Fall Protection, First Aid and/or WHMIS.
• Lives Close to Vancouver.
