What You'll Do:
- Assist the Chef in planning, preparing, and executing high-quality meals for events, including weddings, corporate gatherings, and private parties.
- Maintain a strong focus on producing exceptional food experiences, leading the back-of-house team, and recruiting talented individuals to join our culinary family.
- Work closely with the Chef to oversee kitchen organization, efficiency, and food preparation, ensuring quality, presentation, and standards are consistently met.
- Anticipate kitchen needs by ensuring cooking stations are stocked and coordinating supply orders within budget and on time.
- Provide leadership and training to the kitchen team, identifying opportunities for improvement and fostering professional growth.
- Play a key role in quality assurance, verifying food storage systems are functioning properly and ensuring all staff adhere to proper food dating and organization procedures.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for BHC, actively seeking top culinary talent and assisting with hiring efforts to strengthen the kitchen team.
What You Have:
- Experience & Leadership: 5+ years of culinary experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory kitchen role.
- Food Safety Knowledge: Food Safety certification is required—you know the regulations and how to implement them effectively.
- Training & Development: Proven ability to train kitchen staff, enforce best practices, and maintain high kitchen standards.
- Thrives Under Pressure: You can handle a fast-paced environment while staying calm and collected for the team.
- Strong Team Player & Leader: You bring people together, fostering collaboration and a shared commitment to excellence.
