Key Responsibilities:

  • UI/UX Design & Planning:
    Develop and refine user interface designs and overall user experiences for our mobile game titles. This includes designing interactive frameworks, mapping out user flows, and planning player experiences.
  • Interaction Design & Prototyping:
    Create interactive prototypes that accurately reflect planned interaction frameworks and game mechanics. Utilize prototyping tools (e.g., Unity) to iterate on design ideas and validate concepts through user testing.
  • Requirement Analysis & Design Implementation:
    Thoroughly analyze game design documents to understand strategic goals and requirements. Provide optimal interaction and visual design solutions that align with the intended player experience.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration:
    Work closely with game designers, visual artists, developers, QA, and product managers. Ensure that the final implementation of game features adheres to the established visual design and interactive guidance.
  • Usability Analysis & Optimization:
    Evaluate the usability of existing game features and interfaces, identify improvement areas, and propose optimization strategies to enhance player engagement continuously.
  • Resource Management & Coordination:
    Oversee UI asset acceptance, management, and configuration to ensure accurate implementation of game system functions and rule designs.
  • Trend Analysis & User Research:
    Stay updated with the latest trends in UI/UX design within the gaming and mobile app industry. Integrate best practices into projects by analyzing user feedback and behavior.

Job Requirements:

  • Basic Unity Skills:
    Familiarity with Unity for implementing UI elements or creating prototypes is essential.
  • Industry Experience:
    Previous experience working as a UI/UX designer or planner in the gaming or mobile app industry is highly desirable.
  • Creativity & Innovation:
    Ability to think outside the box and develop creative solutions that enhance player engagement.
  • Strong Communication Skills:
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to articulate design concepts clearly to diverse teams.
  • Team Collaboration:
    Proven experience working in dynamic, cross-functional team environments, with a collaborative spirit and a proactive attitude.
  • Flexibility:
    Willingness to perform other related tasks as assigned by the team.
  • Passion for Gaming:
    A strong personal interest in gaming, particularly mobile games, ensuring that designs resonate with and engage our target audience. Demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for gaming, with a special focus on mobile games. Active engagement in gaming helps inform design decisions and keeps our products aligned with current trends.
  • Legal Requirement:
    • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without employer sponsorship.
