As a SCADA Technician, you will install, configure, and maintain SCADA systems and field hardware, ensuring continuous operation and reliability. This is a mid-level position with the opportunity to grow into a Senior SCADA Technician.

What you will be Doing:
Install, configure, and maintain SCADA systems and related field hardware
Monitor and troubleshoot SCADA systems to ensure continuous operation
Troubleshoot and repair field communications issues for SCADA
Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on SCADA hardware and software
Conduct system testing and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability
Collaborate with engineers and field technicians to resolve technical issues
Work directly with clients to identify issues and coordinate a resolution
Work with Clients and co-workers to identify and recommend improvements and new technologies
Maintain accurate documentation of SCADA system configurations and changes
Train and support field personnel in the use of SCADA systems and field hardware
Respond to emergency calls and provide timely resolution to system issues
Minimum Skills and Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience with SCADA systems in the oil and gas industry.
Basic understanding of industrial automation and control systems.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Quick learner; able to adapt to new technologies.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Must possess a valid Drivers License and clean abstract.
Ability to travel and work away from home.
Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Exposure to the use and maintenance of SCADA software and hardware.
Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, TCP/IP).
RTU/PLC experience.
Communications hardware experience.
Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
Journeyman Instrumentation ticket.
Relevant certifications in SCADA systems.
Working Conditions:
2 weeks on/2 weeks off schedule.
Field-based work in the Permian/Delaware Basin.
