We are looking for a strategic, data-driven digital media specialist who can tailor digital marketing strategies to diverse audiences. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns and dynamic social media content across multiple digital channels. Reporting to the Creative Director, you will work closely with the Brand & Marketing team to ensure YW Calgary's programs, services, revenue-generating initiatives, and strategic priorities are effectively promoted with a targeted, results-driven digital approach.

This is a hands-on role for a creative and technically skilled professional who excels at turning strategy into compelling, high-impact digital content. From producing social-first content and executing campaigns to optimizing digital engagement, you will play a key role in enhancing brand visibility, attracting program participants, engaging with the community, and strengthening YW Calgary's positioning.

This is a Full-time position working 37.5 hours per week; Monday- Friday with a Hybrid work schedule, 3 days in office, 2 days remote. Some travel may be required for various events.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Digital Marketing Execution – Plan and implement digital marketing campaigns that align with business goals, including SEO, PPC advertising, content marketing, email marketing, and social media marketing.
  • Campaign Management – Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including content calendars, ad creatives, landing pages, and performance tracking.
  • SEO & Content Strategy – Optimize website content and structure to improve search rankings and attract target audiences through engaging, high-impact content.
  • Market Research & Analysis – Conduct research on target audiences, market trends, competitors, and industry insights to inform strategy and content direction.
  • Social Media Content Creation – Develop, edit, and produce social-first content, including video (Reels, YouTube, short-form), for storytelling, thought leadership, event promotion, and program outreach. Support campaign planning, manage paid advertising, and monitor trends.
  • Email Marketing – Design and implement email campaigns, automation workflows, and segmentation strategies to engage audiences and nurture leads.
  • Analytics & Performance Optimization – Track and analyze campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics. Generate reports and use data insights to optimize campaigns for better engagement and ROI.
  • Conversion Optimization (CRO) – Continuously test and refine landing pages, calls-to-action (CTAs), and conversion funnels to maximize engagement and results.
  • Industry Awareness & Innovation – Stay up to date with digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices, adapting strategies to remain competitive and effective.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years in digital marketing, content production, and social media management.
  • Experience managing websites, including regular updates, optimizing functionality, and maintaining content consistency. Proficiency in WordPress, Shopify, and/or Squarespace is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, social media marketing, email marketing, content marketing, and paid advertising (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Business and Ads Manager).
  • Hands-on experience managing social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) and scheduling tools (e.g., Later, HubSpot).
  • Ability to develop, edit, and optimize images, videos, and graphics tailored for different platforms. Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro) and graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva Pro Teams) is a plus.
  • Strong copywriting skills for email marketing, landing pages, and social media content with a working knowledge of basic SEO principles.
  • Experience planning, managing, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns, tracking performance, and providing data-driven recommendations.
  • Hands-on experience with social media analytics, Google Analytics, and campaign performance reporting. Ability to interpret data, generate insights, and optimize campaigns for improved results.
  • Proven track record of executing digital marketing campaigns that drive measurable results, achieve KPIs, and improve engagement and conversion rates.
