Drake International is recruiting experienced Sandblasters for an exciting opportunity with a leading industrial services provider in Edmonton, Alberta.

What You'll Do:

• Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces for painting or coating
• Perform brush and roll of coatings for above and below ground scopes
• Inspect and assess surfaces to determine appropriate blasting methods
• Ensure all blasting operations comply with safety and environmental regulations
• Maintain and clean blasting equipment for optimal performance
• Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow strict safety protocols
• Work in coordination with the painting/coating team to ensure smooth workflow
• Properly dispose of blasting media and waste materials following environmental policies
• Perform quality checks to ensure surfaces are properly prepared for coating applications
• Complete activity reporting accurately and on time per client and company requirements

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience as a sandblaster in an industrial or oil and gas setting preferred
• Knowledge of blasting techniques and materials
• Ability to operate and maintain blasting equipment safely
• Physical stamina and ability to work in confined spaces and harsh environments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
• Certification in abrasive blasting (e.g., SSPC or NACE) is an asset
