Position Overview:JPS Construction Group is seeking an Experienced Concrete Finisher with Form Setting Experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing and formwork for commercial and industrial projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Set, align, and secure concrete forms according to project specifications.
• Finish concrete using hand and power tools, including power trowels, floats, and screeds.
• Monitor weather conditions and adjust finishing techniques to achieve optimal results.
• Construct expansion joints and apply finishing textures as required.
• Ensure work is completed according to engineering specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Repair and resurface concrete structures as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site, following all company and industry safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Concrete Finisher with form-setting.
• Strong understanding of commercial and industrial concrete flatwork, curbs & walls.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools for concrete finishing and form setting.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Red Seal Journeyman Mason certification is considered an asset.
