We are hiring fulltime Production Machine Operator for our manufacturing client in Orangeville, ON. This position will offer 12 hour continental shift work and you will be trained in operating plant machinery.

As a machine operator, you'll contribute to the success of the company by :

• setting up and monitoring extruder operation to detect sheet defects or machine malfunctions, making adjustments to create high-quality plastic sheet
• conducting ongoing checks on the specifications of the produced sheet
• adjusting the dies and cutting blades to attain order requirements
• consistently updating paper to ensure accurate inventory
• keeping the work area clean and safe
• working enthusiastically with other departments
• transporting, weighing, labeling and shipping completed rolls and sheet

Manufacturing Experience:

• plastics manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
• extrusion machine: 3 years (preferred)
