As aTechnical Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top-tier tech talent for our fintech projects. Youll collaborate closely with hiring managers and technical teams to understand hiring needs, refine our recruitment strategies, and ensure an exceptional candidate experience.

NOTE: This is a full-time, on-site position located at our downtown Vancouver office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition: Identify, source, and engage qualified candidates for technical roles, including software engineers, data scientists, product managers, and DevOps professionals.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a diverse talent pipeline through proactive sourcing methods, such as networking, headhunting, and leveraging platforms like LinkedIn, GitHub, and Stack Overflow.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process, from initial outreach to onboarding.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers and leadership to define job requirements, screen candidates, and align on hiring goals.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and emerging technologies to attract top talent.
  • Recruitment Metrics: Track and report key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-hire, quality of hire, and diversity hiring progress.
  • Employer Branding: Help elevate the companys brand as a top fintech employer by participating in events, job fairs, and online campaigns.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in technical recruiting, preferably within the fintech, tech, or startup sectors.
  • Strong understanding of software development, data science, cloud technologies, and other tech stacks to assess candidate suitability.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems, recruitment platforms, and sourcing tools.
  • Proven ability to connect with and engage technical talent through various channels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical roles to non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
