Objective:
We are looking for a reliable person whocan assist in maintaining all aspects of maintenance operations for the hotels interior and exterior. Perform ongoing maintenance tasks in a proactive and preventative manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Positive attitude, self-starter, and team player.
- Strong attention to detail.
- You will be expected to be available on call as scheduled.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Performs moderately complex tasks as required.
- Adheres to quality and industry standards when completing projects and duties.
- Handles complaints and concerns where possible and appropriate.
- Completes tasks in a timely and professional manner as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
- Reports near depletion of inventory levels to Maintenance Manager and/or Supervisor.
- Demonstrates a superior customer service attitude with Ambassadors and Guests.
- Complies with all health and safety practices, fire safety, and WCB regulations.
- Assist with the upkeep of staff accommodation units.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Qualifications:
- Experience in a maintenance environment (preferably hotel).
- Organized, detail orientated individual with excellent written, verbal and communication skills.
- Team player, flexible and energetic with the ability to work independently.
- Must have a valid Alberta Drivers License.
- Valid Pool Operator Certification an asset.
- Manages time effectively with ability to multitask.
- Current knowledge of Provincial Health and Safety regulations.
- Knowledge of tools and equipment needed to perform duties.
- Alice knowledge an asset.
- Able to handle the physical aspects of the position.
Shifts:Willingness to work on flexible shifts (weekdays, Evenings & weekends)
