THE OPPORTUNITY:

The TMO Analyst, IT is an integral team member of Atlantic's Transformation Management Office responsible for leveraging technology to revolutionize our core capabilities to maximize business outcomes. This role will join a growing team that will contribute to the digital delivery portfolio within Atlantic. Our technology projects underpin Atlantic's digital strategy, which is focused on systems, data, and automation.

This role will ensure consistent flow of current, accurate, and timely collection/dissemination of programs/projects information to stakeholders at all levels of the company.

The Analyst is responsible for overseeing the IT project intake process ensuring the company's priorities and objectives are addressed.

Location: Scarborough, Ontario (currently hybrid)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the project intake process, ensuring established framework and governance is followed.
  • Conduct preliminary feasibility assessments and analysis of requests.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams for prioritization of intake requests.
  • Manage the Portfolio Project Management (PPM) tool ensuring all requests are entered and maintained with relevant information.
  • Establish and manage reporting and metrics of portfolios, programs, projects, and requests.
  • Assess resource demand and capacity planning, in collaboration with IT resource managers.
  • Establish and conduct periodic project audits, ensuing adherence to established framework and governance.
  • Support program/project managers, business analysts in usage of PPM tools and processes.
  • Travel within North America will be required.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • University Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related major.
  • 3+ years of experience in supporting a Project Management Office (PMO) or Center of Excellence (CoE).
  • Certification in project management and change management disciplines preferred, but not required i.e. Project Management (PMP, Prince 2), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Change management (CCMP, CM2).
  • Working knowledge of different project delivery methodologies (i.e., Waterfall, Agile, SAFE), with a focus on agile and iterative value creation in a customer-centricity environment.
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively and with a high sense of urgency.
  • Ability to oversee multiple small projects and excel in a complex and evolving portfolio.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo, exhibit a mindset of creativity, determination and an energetic drive to succeed.
  • Demonstrates change leadership by successfully guiding the organization through change, while maintaining focus, intensity and team cohesion.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in French would be an asset.
