Overview: We are seeking reliable and safety-conscious individuals to join our team as School Bus Drivers for the Brampton and Mississauga areas. This position involves transporting students to and from school safely and punctually, ensuring a safe and pleasant experience for all passengers. Successful candidates will be detail-oriented, have excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport students to and from school on a predetermined route.

• Maintain adherence to traffic laws and regulations while operating the bus.

• Follow the assigned schedule and ensure punctual arrivals and departures.

• Monitor the behavior and safety of students on the bus.

• Communicate effectively and respectfully with students, parents, school staff, and other road users.

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is safe and operational.

• Maintain cleanliness and order on the bus, including ensuring all safety equipment is functional.

• Report any incidents, accidents, or mechanical issues promptly.

• Attend mandatory training sessions and meetings as required.

• Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario school bus license (B or E class).

• Clean driver's abstract with no traffic violations.

• Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check, including vulnerable sector screening.

• Excellent driving record with proven experience in driving larger vehicles.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage and discipline students while maintaining a positive and safe environment.

• Punctuality and reliability are essential.

• Must be able to work a split shift schedule (morning and afternoon routes).

• Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the bus.

• Ability to lift and carry items as needed.
