West Fraser Grande Prairie OSB is currently recruiting for Summer Student Labourers.

You'll Do:

  • Work a Monday to Friday schedule of 8-hour shifts.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols while performing a variety of tasks throughout the mill including housekeeping, painting, outside maintenance & yard clean-up and other tasks to support the operations.

You have:

  • Must be 18 years of age and enrolled to attend post-secondary schooling in the fall of 2025. Proof of enrolment will be required.
  • Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation.
  • Commitment to safety and ability to perform physical labour in a manufacturing facility that will include working in extreme heat, noise, dust, heights, repetitive tasks and working outside. Wearing necessary personal protective equipment is a requirement.
  • Ability to maintain a reliable work schedule and demonstrate solid work ethics.
  • Be a positive Team Member with desire to learn new skills and contribute to Team success.
  • Short listed candidates will be asked to complete functional fitness / medical assessment including drug / alcohol screening
