Job Summary: Cashiers are responsible for all general duties as directed by the department manager. The successful applicant will have a strong commitment to customer service, and will help out whenever needed in the store. All applicants must be able to legally work in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

Understand all cash register functions and maintain accurate cash control;

Be able to identify all items in the produce and bakery departments;

Offer a greeting to every customer encountered;

Offer assistance to any customer visibly seeking help;

Pack groceries for customers whenever possible;

Accurately stock shelves, facing stock and managing signage where required;

Clean checkout area at shift end;

Stock shelves and assist others as directed by store management;

Consistently display a positive attitude a flexible approach; and

Additional tasks and duties as requested by supervisor.

Previous customer service experience an asset. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
