Job DescriptionHow you will make an impact:
- You will be responsible for helping lead the catering operation, its food production, and customer service
- You will direct and coordinate employee activities preparing for catered events.
- You will assist planning events, creating menus etc.
- You will develop and maintain a professional relationship with customers
- You will help ensure operational and employee compliance with Sodexo Food and Physical Safety policies and procedures
- You will help foster a culture of diversity and inclusion for our employees, encouraging continuous improvement and growth
What you'll need to succeed:
- Interprovincial Read Seal certification or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience, some of which is at the supervisory level
- Proven ability to place orders and manage inventory
- Proven ability to comply with recipes
- Proven ability to anticipate and solve problems
- Responsible for helping to train and monitor employees to ensure health and safety procedures are being followed
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Culinary creativity
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet established goals and objectives with proven organizational skills
