Job Description

As a valuable member of Real Sports, you will be responsible for delivering winning Food & Beverage service to our guests at all times by living our Visions and Values. You will provide friendly service to our guests as their first point of contact – their experience starts with you.

  • Welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner, displaying welcoming body language and creating a positive first impression.
  • Ensure all menus are clean and tidy before the start of each shift.
  • Review reservations; update and maintain guest profiles.
  • Present and maintain menus.
  • Work with the Service Manager to prepare and organize seating plans.
  • Seat guests according to the seating plan.
  • Communicate any special requests to the team.
  • Use intuition to predict guest needs and requests.
  • Create a lasting impression, personalize your farewells.
  • Maximize the capacity of the dining room by assisting with table re-setting and other duties as the need arises.
  • Assist Bussers, Servers, Bartenders, and Managers as needed.
  • Adhere to MLSE Service Standards and Policies.
  • Follow all MLSE Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
  • Complete side duties and other tasks as assigned by Management.
Qualifications

  • Must be available to work 40 hours each week.
  • Must be available to work a variety of shifts including days, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be Smart Serve Certified.
  • 2+ years of hosting position experience.
  • Previous experience in high-volume restaurants.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Work well under pressure; handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
