Cronometer a fast-growing Nutrition and Wellness software company based in Revelstoke, is seeking a skilled part-time Controller to join our finance team. As a key member of our small-but-mighty financial operations, you'll work closely with the CFO, Administrative Manager, and Bookkeeping team to manage accounting functions, ensure accurate reporting, and provide valuable insights to support our continued growth.

What youll be doing:

• Lead daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, and general ledger management
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements & reports
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes
• Develop and maintain financial controls and procedures
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP) and tax regulations
• Implement and optimize financial systems and processes
• Manage the Employee Stock Option Plan processes and platform
• Assist in budgeting, managing cash flow, and financial planning
• Support the CFO in strategic financial initiatives and special projects
  

What you bring to the table:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Professional accounting designation (CPA).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with subscription business models and revenue recognition principles.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Rigorous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with financial planning and analysis.
• Familiarity with data analytics and financial modeling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to haves:

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Interest or knowledge in nutrition and fitness.

Compensation:

• Full Time Equivalent: $90,000 - $105,000 / year (based on experience)
  + summer & winter bonuses (based on company performance)
  + employee stock option program award
  

Location: Revelstoke, Canada (Cronometer office)
