We are looking for an Extrusion Machine Operator to become a valuable part of our team in Orangeville, ON

Main Duties:

• Safely operate, set up, troubleshoot, and change over extrusion machines, adhering to established guidelines and customer specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to correctly position and secure equipment.
• Perform routine adjustments, cleaning, and maintenance of machinery.
• Keep accurate records of tasks performed.

Requirements:

• Experience in plastics extrusion manufacturing is an asset.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills.
• Familiarity with measuring tools and equipment.
• High attention to detail, solid math skills, and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
• Forklift operation experience is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly pay ranges from $20 - 22.5/ hour, based on experience, qualifications, and skills.
• Permanent, full-time position with 12-hour rotating day/night shifts over a 2-week cycle.
• 84 hours biweekly under averaging agreements, with overtime opportunities.
• Includes shift premiums and performance bonuses.
