Our client, a leading Manufacturing supplier in GTA, Ontario, is currently looking for a full-time permanent Dual Ticket (Millwright/ Electrician) with solid experience in Automotive, Food and manufacturing sector.

Job: Dual Ticket (Millwright/ Electrician)

Pay: $42 - 55+ Benefits.

Location: GTA, Ontario

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain packaging equipment and high speed PLC controlled equipment.
• Repair and maintain processing and material handling equipment.
• Carry out requirements of Preventative Maintenance programs.
• Perform facility repairs as required.
• Ensure all work is completed in a safe manner and complies with applicable industry standards.
• Repair, upgrade and install electronic controls and equipment.
• Program and modify PLC's.
• Train other mechanics in electronic controls.
• Assist equipment operators to improve line efficiency

Qualifications

• Minimum grade 12 or equivalent.
• Preference given to candidates with previous experience in an automotive and manufacturing environment.
• Millwright & Electrical licenses required.
• 5 years' experience in repair and overhaul, troubleshooting of processing, packaging and material handling equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Preference given to candidates with experience with welding and machining
• Troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
