We are currently seeking an experienced Marketing Cloud Specialist to join our team. This is a remote opportunity, and we are open to considering applicants from across Canada.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Cloud Specialist will oversee the daily operations and management of marketing technology, communication, and automation strategies within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Youll work closely with the Director of Marketing to develop and implement email and SMS marketing automation strategies that support patient conversion, retention, and experience. As an expert in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, you're skilled at crafting exceptional digital customer experiences and ensuring their successful delivery. You thrive on solving problems, tackling both simple and intricate challenges. Youre data-driven and have solid analytical abilities as well as data management skills. The position collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance marketing initiatives, foster growth, and improve the overall patient experience.

Key Accountabilities Include:

  • Exhibit strong technical expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including proficiency with Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, Interaction Studio, Audience Builder, and core integration configurations.
  • Collaborate with marketing, business development, and operations teams to design and implement automations that improve patient experience, conversion, and retention.
  • Diagnose and resolve platform issues while enhancing workflows and optimizing email templates.
  • Ensure the successful operation of Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Gather requirements and execute solution implementations.
  • Identify, monitor, and manage key dependencies, challenges, and risks.
  • Develop and execute patient journey strategies informed by behavioural data and insights.
  • Create and manage stand-alone email and SMS campaigns, automated email and SMS journeys, and other comprehensive marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct testing and quality assurance on marketing programs to guarantee flawless execution and continuous refinement.
  • Focus on improving email deliverability while minimizing unsubscribe rates.
  • Ensure compliance with various national and provincial privacy and consent regulations across communications.
  • Ensure Marketing Cloud is optimized and fully utilized, including database management.
  • Work with other members of the marketing team to gather insights and optimize campaign performance.
  • Leverage data to guide strategic decisions and refine marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders to assess, segment, and enhance workflows for greater engagement, efficiency, and scalability.

Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certifications, including Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Admin, Marketing Cloud Developer, and/or Marketing Cloud Consultant certification(s).
  • 3 to 5 years experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with SQL in Marketing Cloud (similar experience to SQL Server Studio or MySQL workbench).
  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS & AMPScript is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of digital marketing, email marketing, SMS, and marketing automation best practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proven project management experience and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to contribute individually and to participate in cross-functional teams.
  • Direct experience working with agency partners.
  • Experience working with Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud is considered an asset.
  • Experience leveraging AI to scale content development and/or marketing initiatives, while maintaining high quality, is considered an asset.
  • Understanding of UX and conversion-optimization principals considered an asset.
