ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Toronto Blue Jays are looking for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are interested in learning from industry-leading professionals and exploring what it means to be a part of Canadas only Major League Baseball team.
Selected individuals will become part of a diverse cohort with access to department-specific training, social activities, and learning opportunities. Each participant will also be assigned a cross departmental mentor from within the organization to guide them throughout the program and the unique chance to present to theToronto Blue JaysLeadership Team.
During this year long program, candidates will gain invaluable real-world exposure to the sports industry, immersing themselves in theToronto Blue Jaysworld right here atthe Rogers Centre.

OVERVIEW
The Fan Insights Associate will play a critical role in increasing the capacity of the Fan Insights team to serve Toronto Blue Jays Business Operations with quantitative customer data. The Associate will develop and program surveys and analyze data to support the operations of other departments, including Fan Experience, Ticket Sales, and Digital Marketing. The Associate will also be responsible for managing our in-house fan feedback community, the Blue Jays Fan Forum.
The Associate will work with other members of the Insights team to support broader business-wide initiatives such as customer segmentation. The Associate will be a data-driven problem solver and critical thinker, who is able to collaborate with other stakeholders to drive key business outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write and program surveys in Qualtrics
- Respond to analysis requests using quantitative data to answer questions such as, What do we know about
- Manage the Blue Jays Fan Forum online community, including content planning, community health tracking, and recruitment
- Support the communication of insights to the business through presentations, workshops, PowerPoint, BI dashboards, and newsletters
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Fan Experience, Merchandise, Ticket Sales) to understand their specific research/insights needs and provide the right tools and analysis to support their operations and decision-making processes
- Contribute to the growth and development of the Strategy, Insights, & Analytics team by developing new capabilities and staying up to date on industry trends
QUALIFICATIONS
- Upcoming or recent graduates interested in market research, consumer insights, data & analytics, or related fields
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience performing quantitative analysis to solve challenging problems
- Exceptional critical thinker with an ability to effectively communicate complex concepts both verbally and visually (i.e., in PowerPoint, infographics, Tableau dashboards, etc.)
- Experience with survey platforms such as Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Alida, etc. is a plus
- Advanced skills in Excel; familiarity with SQL and statistical programming languages (e.g., R, Python) is a plus
- Team player with a willingness and curiosity to push past assigned work
- Baseball knowledge and passion for the game is a plus
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
