Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (CHRP/SHRM certification is an asset)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR Generalist, Manager, or Business Partner roles (experience in production, warehouse, or distribution industries is preferred)
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance, with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary HR contact for all business operations, including staffing, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and compliance
• Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies, onboarding programs, and retention initiatives
• Ensure compliance with statutory employment regulations, company policies, and Health & Safety standards
• Lead employee relations efforts, including investigations, performance evaluations, training, and progressive discipline
• Participate in strategic planning, workforce development, and succession planning to align HR strategies with business goals

Work Environment:

• Office-based with occasional work in refrigerated warehouses (45-55°ree;F) or greenhouses (80-100°ree;F)
• Exposure to loud environments due to machinery and forklifts
• Standard office equipment usage, with the need to sit or stand for prolonged periods
• Flexibility with work hours and willingness to travel as required
