We are dedicated to creating high-quality, sustainable, and impactful developments in Vancouver. As we embark on our latest project, a 6-storey woodframe building on Main Street, we seek a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead this $23 million project to successful completion.

Job Overview: We are looking for a Project Manager with a proven track record in managing large-scale woodframe construction projects. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership skills, comprehensive knowledge of construction methodologies, and the ability to manage all project aspects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Management: Oversee all phases of the project, ensuring alignment with timelines, budget, and quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring cost control and efficient resource allocation.
  • Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of construction are maintained.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in woodframe construction projects.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. PMP or equivalent certification is an asset.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry best practices.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
