ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT:
The Manager, Business Analysis leads a team of Business Analysts who gather, document, and analyze business requirements and processes in order to recommend solutions that meet the organization's needs. This role acts as a key liaison between business stakeholders, project management, organization change management, and IT teams, ensuring that solutions are aligned with business needs and objectives.

MAJOR DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage a team of business analysts, setting clear objectives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and career development opportunities for direct reports, ensuring their growth aligns with both departmental and organizational success.
- Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of business analysis activities, overseeing the requirements of gathering, process mapping, and solution design across multiple projects.
- Accountable for the delivery of high-quality business solutions that align with the organization's strategic goals and drive measurable business outcomes.
- Monitor, report, and analyze the performance of business analysis initiatives across departments, proactively identifying risks and issues, and taking corrective action where necessary
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize business analysis processes, tools, and methodologies, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.
- Define and implement a comprehensive strategy for a Business Analysis Center of Excellence (BACOE), setting long-term objectives for process optimization, talent development, and knowledge management.
- Lead the development of organization-wide business analysis frameworks, standards, and methodologies
- Ensure alignment of business analysis skill development with the future needs of the organization, identifying gaps and implementing targeted training and development programs.
- Work with senior stakeholders to ensure business requirements are effectively translated into actionable deliverables.
- Lead the prioritization of business analysis projects ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to achieve maximum business impact and ROI.
- Support the creation and approval of business cases for investment in systems, ensuring robust analysis and decision-making to support resource allocation across people, process, and technology initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to continuously improve the organization's project intake process, ensuring the alignment of new initiatives with overall business strategy and goals.
- Promote a safe and inclusive work environment that encourages a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
- University degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Business Analysis, or Project Management or a related field
- IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
- 5 years of experience in Business Analysis
- Minimum of 2 years of direct management of staff experience
- PMBOK, BABOK, LEAN, SIX SIGMA, ITIL, or other Risk Management certifications are considered an asset
- Strong computer skills including MS Office, MS Visio, MS Project and Smartsheet
- Above average written and presentation skills, with the ability to cater to different audiences
- Valid Driver's License
- Committed to Health and Safety
