THE ROLE

As General labour you will be working in a food manufacturing facility, loading and unloading trucks. This is a great temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a mid-size facility for a reputable and leading company in food manufacturing. You will be working in a team environment. This is a growing company that is very busy right now. The plant is a meat processing facility. You need to be comfortable working with raw and cooked beef. You will be working in all the areas of the plant which include the freezer, cold area, and dry food area. This position is located inConcord on a bus route.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Efficiently load and unload goods from trucks and containers, ensuring safe handling by hand
• Lifting up to 75lbs repeatedly in safe manner
• Keep the work area clean and organized, following safety protocols at all times
• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely task completion
• General warehouse duties

REQUIREMENTS

• 2 years experience of heavy lifting experience
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs
• Food manufacturing experience
• Comfortable working in a cold freezer
• Have a great team attitude and willingness to help
• Good communication skills
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Have a proven track record of excellent attendance and punctuality
