Who are you?

You are an experienced Senior Cost Controller with 4+ years experience, seeking your next step or are currently working in a similar role within a comparable environment. You're motivated to join a growing and dynamic team.

Job Description

As Senior Cost Controller, you will be involved with:

  • Responsibility for the capitalization of the program portfolio, this involves working closely with both client finance and the delivery teams to accurately assign costs incurred on projects to assets introduced by projects
  • Review of month end and quarter end reporting the delivery teams; understanding variance and the reasons as well as the financial and schedule performance of the program
  • Validation of forecasts; schedule baselines; and change orders for your assigned program team
  • Review of projects at Stage Gates and validation the projects are aligned with the governance framework
  • Support Project Managers with the development of accurate cost forecasts
  • Support Project Managers with the development of accurate schedules for their projects
  • Provide training to delivery teams for the roll out of PMO processes and procedures
  • Experience with cost control software like PRISM or other similar tools with ability to manage budgets, forecasts and track project costs effectively.
Qualifications
  • 4-7 years of Cost Control experience
  • A recognized university degree in Construction Management or related field
  • Membership in a relevant professional organizations (i.e. RICS, AACEI).
  • Certification or designation from a professional organization is an asset (i.e. MRICS, CCP)

Additional Information

The base salary range for this full-time role is $90,000 - $110,000 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate's experience and qualifications.
