Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Project Manager. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in fire protection systems, project management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Plan, execute, and oversee fire sprinkler projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to define project objectives and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, track progress, and manage risks.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders on project status and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Manage material procurement, ensuring timely delivery to meet project schedules.
  • Coordinate manpower needs, including scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate clear communication between all project stakeholders to maintain alignment and resolve issues promptly.

Financial Analysis and Forecasting

  • Perform detailed financial analysis and forecasting for each project.
  • Monitor project budgets, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide accurate financial reporting to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure proper cost management and adherence to financial goals.

Leadership and Collaboration

  • Foster a culture of excellence and accountability among project teams.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP or similar project management certification.

The qualifications we are looking for in a successful candidate include:

  • Project management experience is an asset including experience with planning, executing, and controlling projects.
  • Able to prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
  • Good organizational skills for people and information.
  • Previous knowledge and working experience in Procore for project management tasks an asset.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in the fire sprinkler industry & codes.
  • Knowledge and experience in mechanical piping installations and coordination is an asset.
  • Good interpersonal skills with staff and customers.
  • Valid Driver's license with a clean record.
