JOB SUMMARY

As a key member of the FPGA development team you will design, implement, and optimize systems that enhance our cutting-edge displays and microdevice platforms. Your work will involve transforming video signals into high-quality images through precise calibration and timing, ensuring that every detail comes to life on screen. You will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team of hardware developers, participating in design reviews and ensuring robust operation between software applications and video processing components.

YOURDAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 3+ Years of Proven Track Record of successful FPGA design and verification of High-Speed interface like LVDS, HDMI/DP, and PCIe.
• Experience with Xilinx or Intel FPGA devices and development tools
• Proficiency with hardware programming languages such as Verilog and/or VHDL, and software languages such as C and C++
• Experience with Image/video processing pipeline and OpenCV
• Strong debug and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The following would be an asset:
• Knowledge and experience with video systems and specification standards such as HDMI, DisplayPort and SDI, video processing algorithms, high-speed memory interfaces and communication protocols using multi-gigabit SERDES
• Experience with FPGA based SoC or soft microprocessor cores
• Knowledge of Ethernet networking concepts
• Understanding of High-Level Synthesis design flows
• Coding experience with C++ and other scripting languages such as Perl, Python or Tcl
• Experienced with lab/bench hardware bring-up and system verification (digital, analog, and test equipment including High-Speed Mixed-Signal Oscilloscope, Precision SMU, LCR meter, Function and Pattern Generators, Vector Network Analyzer).
• You excel in a team environment; you can contribute to a highly multidisciplinary team, and you are not afraid of your ideas being challenged
• You have a relevant Bachelors degree (e.g. software engineering, computer science, etc.)

YOUR TYPICAL DAY DURING OUR INTERGRATION PHASE:

• Receive training on VueReals and other relevant technologies
• Learn and receive training on VueReals software and system platforms
• Collaborate with different team members to understand and identify potential areas for adopting software solutions
• Help to establish our work environment, and safeguard our culture
• Participate in team building events in all capacity

YOUR TYPICAL DAY POST OUR INTERGRATION PHASE:

• Collaborate with R&D, Mechanical, Display, FPGA, and Firmware teams to capture hardware requirements and translate into the most efficient hardware architecture design.
• Develop and implement FPGA system for display driving and calibration
• Design, simulation, prototype, and test of state-of-the-art Analog and Digital hardware to facilitate engineering samples, reliability, characterization, instrumentation systems.
• Developing innovative solutions for various challenges
• Participating in the improvement and development of our technologies
• Helping to establish our work environment, and safeguarding our culture
• Assisting in growing the team by actively participating in finding proper candidates, involvement in the assessment process, and the training/integration process
• Participating in team building events in all capacity
