The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and organized Marketing Event Coordinator to join our dynamic marketing team! The ideal candidate would be a self-starter, quick learner, have a team-oriented attitude, and be motivated to learn and grow. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our community engagement initiatives, sponsorship management, and external event coordination. As a liaison between our organization and various community partners, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining relationships that align with our values and business goals.
About You
- You have1-3years of experience in marketing, event coordination, community engagement or related field
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with community partners, and firm leadership
- A degree in Marketing or related program is anasset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and personal accountability
- Experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic graphic design tools is an asset
- Passion for community involvement, business development, and creating impactful experiences

About theRole
- Act as the primary liaison with community organizations, ensuring strong relationships and alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage sponsorships and donations, including vetting opportunities, coordinating deliverables, and tracking outcomes.
- Serve as the point person for sponsorship requirements, such as branding, promotional materials and attendance at events, including but not limited to set up and tear down.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute external events such as webinars, seminars, client lunches and other community-focused activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure logistics are handled, including venue selection, registration, catering and AV requirements.
- Monitoring and maintaining promotional materials inventory (swag, print materials, signage, etc.), when necessary.
- Manage RLBs internal swag store processing orders and organizing logistics to deliver to team members.
- Be the point person for marketing requests from internal and externalstakeholders
- Coordinate and ensure effective administration of day-to-day marketingactivities
- Monitor and measure marketing campaign effectiveness against goals/objectives
- Track advertising and sponsorship activities
- Monitoring and maintaining promotional materials inventory, when necessary
- Participate in special projects and other marketing initiatives asassigned
The Details
- The position will be based out of Guelph,Ontario. Due to the nature of this role, it is primarily on site minimum 4 days/week in the office.
- Compensation is based on a 37.5 workweek; however, hours may fluctuate throughout the year depending on firm, department, and clientneeds. Occasional evening and weekend work expected.
- Interoffice travel and to vendors & events during peak seasons as needed. Access to a reliable vehicle is required.
