Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Full-Time (12-Month Contract)
Location: Calgary, AB | Regional Fertility Program

Are you a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients? Join the Regional Fertility Program team in Calgary, where you'll provide compassionate care in a specialized medical setting. This full-time role is a 12-month contract with the potential for extension.

About the Role
As an LPN, you will bring your professional expertise, technical skills, and clinical judgment to deliver exceptional care to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing patient care in the General Fertility Clinic, Procedure Rooms, and Recovery Rooms.
  • Assisting with minor surgical procedures.
  • Assessing and managing patients both in-person and over the phone.
  • Working independently within clinic protocols to assess patients, interpret test results, and manage treatments.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduate of a Licensed Practical Nurse Program.

Registration Requirements:

  • Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in gynecology is preferred.
  • Fertility experience is an asset.

Attributes:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional and empathetic approach to patient care.
  • Ability to work independently within established protocols.
