Job Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and monitor MPD equipment during drilling operations.
  • Conduct real-time data analysis to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with rig crews and drilling teams to integrate MPD systems effectively.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on MPD equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are in proper working condition before deployment.
  • Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in safety meetings and risk assessments.
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting of incidents, near misses, and equipment performance.
  • Provide detailed job reports and documentation to supervisors and clients.
  • Act as a technical advisor for clients regarding MPD systems.

Experience / Education Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Proven experience in drilling operations (preferably with MPD systems and engineering execution in the field.
  • Understanding of safety procedures and compliance regulations
  • Ability to communicate product benefits and features effectively to customers.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
  • Ability to handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues effectively and professionally.
  • Empathy and patience when dealing with customers. The role requires extended periods in the field, including potentially harsh and remote environments.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by operational needs.
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks, handle equipment, and withstand outdoor conditions.

Physical Requirements:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to handle/feel objects; and reach with hands and arms.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may also have to do some lifting to 45 pounds.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be inclined to inclement weather including, but not limited to, extreme heat and/or cool temperatures.
