Position Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday to Friday

Are you a detail-oriented professional passionate about supporting patient care? The Regional Fertility Program is seeking a dedicated Medical Administrative Assistant to join our clinic in Calgary.

About the Role

As a Medical Administrative Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our physicians can focus on delivering exceptional patient care. This role involves managing schedules, coordinating tasks, and providing comprehensive administrative support within a collaborative care team model. Cross-coverage may be required to ensure seamless physician support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage schedules to optimize physician time with patients.
  • Provide high-level administrative support to designated physicians.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure smooth operations and excellent patient care.
  • Assist with clinic-related administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a medical administrative setting with diverse responsibilities.
  • Education: MOA certificate is required. Graduate of a Licensed Practical Nurse Program is an asset.
  • Expertise: Previous experience supporting a physician or manager directly is required.
  • Familiarity with Connect Care and Alberta Netcare systems is highly preferred.
