What youll be doing:
ODell HVAC Group is seeking an experienced and strategic E-Commerce Manager to lead and drive the success of our E-Commerce division. Youll develop and implement a comprehensive E-Commerce strategy that fuels sales growth, enhances the customer experience and sets up apart from the competition.
The E-Commerce Manager will also be responsible for the overall management of the E-Commerce platform, analyzing market trends, sales data, and the customer experience to drive decisions. This role will work collaboratively with our Marketing, Operations, and I.T. divisions to ensure the growth of online sales.
- Responsible for the financial performance of the division, ensuring revenue growth, profitability, and cost management.
- Develop and implement optimization strategies for E-Commerce to increase online sales of HVAC products, while ensuring a value-add online shopping journey for customers.
- Provide strategic input and collaborate with Marketing on digital campaigns, including e-mail marketing, Google Ads, and social media, to drive targeted traffic to the E-Commerce platform.
- Oversee daily operations of the E-Commerce platform, including seeking out efficiencies and improvements within the platform.
- Analyze site traffic to provide data-driven insights to identify opportunities to improve the E-Commerce platform and optimize conversion rates, including A/B and other testing.
- Assist Marketing with preparing the website for promotions and new product launches, ensuring the updates within the E-Commerce platform are tested and function well prior to going live.
- Oversee E-Commerce inventory management/online product listings, adding and removing product info and photos, ensuring that product descriptions, photos, and prices are accurate and engaging.
- Collaborate with various teams including Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to implement customer-focused E-Commerce plans and promotions.
- Actively conduct research to stay ahead of E-Commerce trends, competitor activities, and new digital tools in the industry.
- Track & report on data from the E-Commerce campaigns, sales, website traffic, customer engagement, with the goal of optimizing better conversion rates and business growth.
- Act as the first point of contact for any E-Commerce related inquiries or any technical issues related to the E-Commerce platform.
- Build and grow the E-Commerce team, including recruitment and employee evaluation, as required.

Who you are:
- Post secondary education in E-Commerce, marketing/digital marketing, business, or another related field.
- At least five (5) years of progressive experience in E-Commerce or Digital Marketing, preferably in a distribution-related industry.
- Previous experience with Suite Commerce platform (NetSuite) considered an asset.
- Certifications in E-Commerce, digital marketing, analytics.
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, SQL, HTML.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, email marketing, managing ad campaigns (including Google Ads), conversion optimization, A/B testing, and analytics.
- Ability to analyze sales data and trends providing recommendations to Leadership, and other teams as required.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Solid understanding of the customer experience and user journey through E-Commerce platforms.
- Ability to work independently and cross-collaborate with other teams.
